problem
Build a mobile experience that helps people find jobs and scan the market for median salary. After conducting in-depth interviews with the target audience, I discovered that people need features like an application tracker and a personalized feed of opportunities. Students don't want to see how many applicants are applying right now for the job since it puts more pressure on them and builds the anxiety that they won't be able to land a job. Experienced workers want to see key people in the companies and have a direct messaging feature. Also, many users want to post their resumes anonymously so that their current employer wont be able to find their resumes on the market. Most of the audience wants a single platform to see as much company information as possible.
solution
For this project, I've gone through the complete product design cycle using the double diamond process, empathizing with users, and researching data through the market, user, competitive, and SWOT analysis. After that, I started making sense of data and creating actionable design criteria. After brainstorming sessions, I've begun designing Informational architecture by creating an entity table, User flows, and CJM. After the Research phase, I started creating low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes. I've built a design system based on Human Interface Guidelines system, creating new components, designing the logo, and working on brand identity. After developing the main scenarios, I conducted usability testing, after which a few navigational problems were identified. And I've created documentation of the potential solutions to the issues. After finishing the project, I practiced continuous discovery methods., and developed three new features and two overall navigational improvements.
