problem
My main goal was to find “old” and “bad” examples of UX (using my experience and better up-to-date examples of UX/UI solutions). The old website uses a slider as a wrapper for the whole website, which doesn't allow users to scroll. (very buggy website, and the mobile version hides all the information behind buttons, so you need extra steps to find any info). Complex navigation makes it hard to find something on a website and has backend problems that always make you start your experience all over again.
solution
To improve the UX of the website, I designed a new information architecture; in this design concept, I use block design, so it will be easy to navigate and scroll. Sticky navigation that hides when you scroll will help users know where they are. I designed three global animations (incl. text from fade, slider animations, and light animations of photo content) to make the experience more engaging and exciting for the user. The news page and articles of the old website were fully reconstructed, and the new version implemented categories and sorting, so the user would easily find articles and share them.
